Stoneware blue and brown Stein mug - unusual

This heavy mug, which at fist glance is a German stein has Columbit impressed on the base.  It is really well made.  The design  of a prancing stage on one side and the blue grey and transparent brown glaze is impressive.  No chips or cracks.
