On the trail of anything old and interesting I found this Share Certificate for 250 shares in the Harmony Proprietary Company Limited.  Dated 1912 Zoutpansberg!!!  Signed by the directors and secretary.  Good antique condition. Unless otherwise specified, I would prefer to take it out of the frame for postage.   Please advise when purchasing.

A share certificate for Harmony Proprietary Company Limited dated 1912 represents a different historical entity than the modern Harmony Gold Mining Company Limited, which was only established in 1950.

• The Location: The “Harmony Estate” mentioned on your certificate was a vast block of farms in the Lowveld region, specifically near the Olifants and Selati Rivers, far from the modern Harmony Gold operations in the Free State.
