This item is really old and has been through the mill.   It stands on a brass stand with a copper rim.  The lid (lots of corrosion) fits onto the pot with a bit of persuasion and there is an interesting little lever that lifts the lid up without any difficulty.   The mechanism that opens the tap at the bottom is stuck and the wooden handle is not there.   There is a sieve in the lid as well as against the tap on the inside.  Still a rather interesting item to have.  With cleaning I think it will look fab.
