Sawyers made in USA Slide Viewer.    The body of this little viewer is metal not plastic.  There is a slide in the viewer at the moment.   On lifting off the back where the batteries go one can see that there has been corrosion from a battery.  (not as bad as the photos show!) I have tried to take pix so you can see.   It doesnt appear to have worn through the contact point.   It hasnt been tested or opened so unknown if the globe works.  Questions welcome.
