THREE HANDMADE WOODEN YELLOWOOD BREAD SIDE PLATE BOARDS

These three boards were handmade in the 1990’s as part of a project that was started to bring an income to local people living in the Eastern Cape.  As there was quite a lot of yellowood available at the time the boards were hand cut, the designs traced and then cut out by the people.

The animals are an elephant, hippo and rhino.

One could use them for other purposes in your kitchen dining room or patio.  Stand vases of flowers on them or perhaps hot pots.  They would look fun stuck onto a wall if you are a game reserve nut.
