VINTAGE FLOWER FROG

  I haven’t come across one quite like it but with the hole in the bottom it must have been made to sit in a vase and support flowers.  There are many different types some of glass, ceramic, wire, plastic.   Some are really beautiful.   This one doesn’t have a makers name.   It is in good used vintage condition.  There is a tiny area where a bit glaze has come off next to one of the holes.

They make an unusual item to collect and one can still find them at garage sales and auctions at a good price.   They were extensively used until the early 50’s when “oasis” took over.  Dont hesitate to contact me if you you have any questions.
