Silver plated trinket jewelry box ornate with roses - japan?

This trinket box full of roses and flower designs.    Probably Japanese.    A really pretty box in good vintage condition.    Please note that it will need attention to the hinges as the fixings are not there.  Nothing is broken.    It has been temporarily fastened with wire sections.The blue velvet lining has come unstuck in places.   It needs a cleaning and dusting.  Please look at the pictures carefully and dont hesitate to ask any questions.
