Sheffield Nickel Silver Fork - 23 cms long

  Nickel Silver Sheffield – A large fork at 23 cms long and 5 cms wide.   There is a nice plain scalloped pattern around the scoop area of the fork.  You are welcome to ask any questions.  I am happy to combine items.

Did you know  –  knives and spoons are ancient. But we’ve only been eating with forks for a few centuries.   This is a sardine fork.  It had more tines to keep the slippery little chaps on the fork!  Online I have seen collections of flatware concentrating either on patterned or monogrammed items.  Lovely to give friends a selection of say teaspoons or this special fork.
