South African Infantry Souvenir Copper Sailing Ship

I wouldn’t have thought that the SAI would have had Souvenirs.   It seems by this ship with the SAI badge on it that they must have.   There is a blank space that looks as if something could have come off there, like a thermometer or similar.  The copper is solid and quite weighty.  A rather novel item to have if you collect SA army memorabilia
