RMS Winchester Castle Souvenir Powder Compact circa 1960

Small Powder Compact in silver tone. About 5 cms square.  In used vintage condition.  The powder puff and some powder are still in the box.  In nice used vintage condition.  Compact made by Stratnoid England

The bygone era of Mailships and all the pomp and history and ceremony that surrounds them and the parts they played in the 1st and 2nd wars is very interesting.  Its a lovely hobby to find and collect souvenirs from these grand old ships – finding the menus and the many items that were made for each ship with their own Names is exciting when a new item pops up. Beautifully made silver items, crested ware, and so much more.  I have not encountered a powder compact like this one before.
