PSALMS EN GESANGE – EMBOSSED LEATHER COVER – KERKBOEK NGK of SA  16.5 x 10 cm

I have been finding a number of really lovely Psalm Books and Bibles lately.  They have such a loved  and permanent feel to them.  It makes me wonder about the devout people with deep faith who owned them.   I find it so satisfying to find new guardians for these books.  Please note this book is in used vintage condition.

This cover has embossed praying hands on the front and a protea on each corner front and back.   The inside front page is stained by the leather cover.  A thin sliver has been cut off  the top of the page, other than that, the book is in good condition. There is some age related yellowing of the pages.  Good strong binding and spine intact.  It looks to me as if the book was printed in 1965.
