Hexagonal Satsuma Vase

This 15 cm high vase has typical images that tell a story as shown on many Satsuma vases. 

The vase appears to be unmarked although there is a red line and faint gold oriental lettering on the base.        The gold on the vase is worn, especially around the top rim where it is irregular.   Please look at the pictures carefully and don’t hesitate to questions.   There is a chip on the bottom which has been painted over to match the pattern on the vase.
