Old Zulu beadwork calabash gourd - 16.5 cms tall

A beautifully beaded traditional gourd from the Nongoma area, of Kwa Zulu Natal  acquired in the 1980’s – just a great shame that the gourd inside has broken.  The mouth of the gourd has a piece of gourd out of it but the beadwork covering it is not damaged.  The beadwork is in good condition with no broken beads that I can see.  Please look at the pictures carefully and ask any questions if there is any further information you may need.
