This almost looks like a sample lidded bowl for Thomas Hughes Imperial Derby dated 1910 as it is only 17cms end of handle to end of handle.  Maybe these were use for another purpose.

Please look at the pictures carefully and note the chips as I have shown them as well as the stains.   Dont hesitate to ask any questions.
