Old Sheffield Plate? Cream Jug with Lilies – James Dixon & Sons Rd No 191569

Quite one of the prettiest and daintiest Cream Jugs I have come across.  Research tells me that its dated up to 1920’s as after 1920 there was an addition of Ltd after the makers name.  You will need to verify this if you collect Sheffield plate. 

Externally the jug is in lovely used vintage condition with wear you would expect from being used for just on a centuary!!!!  The inside of the jug is rather tarnished.  The initials TM are stamped into the base and I wonder if this could have been the designers initials.
