Vintage Milk Glass Bud Vase

This is the first old one I have found that looks like its genuine milk glass.   Please note that there are two very small chips under the rim of the vase.    They are not visible from the top.  I think this could be an older piece as it has mold marks and is numbered 18 underneath.

Produced since the time of ancient Egyptians, the striking translucent or opaque glass in various depths of white and beautiful creamy colors is highly desired by collectors. The first pieces of milky white glass date to approximately 1500 B.C. when Egyptians used it for ointment jars and drinking cups.
