1785 Tapestry Sampler - Heraldry Coat of Arms, Crest - Mary Eliz Laughlin Irish

A really old tapestry or sampler.  Possibly Irish.  The condition is as per the photos.   Please look at them closely.   This is a very fragile framed piece so I am going to leave it in the frame under glass for you to decide how you would like to preserve it.  The colours have faded over time.   The work is done in very fine cross stitch, and the material onto which it has been worked, looks as if it was made on a hand loom.   There is a hole in the top left picture and the work is pulling away where it has been stretched.   You are welcome to ask any questions.
