TEA SET HANDPAINTED BY FREAKALEE CERAMICS – UNIQUE 

This unique eccentric tea set will set the stage for an unusual gathering of  friends for tea –   Arty, different and exceptional.  A little background on the set.   I believe it was painted in the 90’s.   The artist has since gone on to become an award winning ceramicist.

This is extracted from her web page:  “She was a finalist in the 2008 Nelson Mandela Metropolitan Art Museum Biennial Award and one of the exhibitors for the 2009 “5 artists 5 different directions” show held in Port Elizabeth.  In 2010  she won the Highly Commended award for her work at CSA Regional in the Eastern Cape.  2012 her 1st solo exhibition in Port Elizabeth.  Freakalee Ceramics sells in shops all over S A” 

The set is not chipped or cracked It is in good used retro condition.   The glaze on the items has crazed.  Don’t hesitate to ask any questions.
