DELFT STYLE  BULB PLANTER 

This 16cm container was filled with water and the bulb – tulip or hyacinth maybe – was popped into the top section.   The roots grew into the water solution below and flowered happily in this lovely container, so much prettier than a conventional flower pot.  It doubles perfectly as an ornament or vase afterwards.  No chips or cracks, no marks under the base.
