Chinese Opaque Green Soapstone Carved Monkey

This opaque stone monkey looks as if he is Soapstone. Almost 8 cms tall.  He was standing in the back of a showcase in a dusty downtown buy and sell shop near a taxi rank when I found him.  Hi is a slightly darker green than the photos show. Please feel free to ask me any questions.
