LARGE JOHN MADDOCK CHEESE / BUTTER DISH

This is one of the biggest and most perfect Cheese or butter dishes that I have come across.  It will hold one rather large cheese or perhaps a smaller variety under its lid.   There are no cracks or chips although there is some discoloration under the lid.   See the pictures below.  They however dont detract at all from this lovely piece made by the well known John Maddock and Sons (ltd) England.   I estimate its possibly about 1935 to 1940
