Cape French Copper Water bucket?

A really heavy beautiful large old handmade stylish Copper Bucket.  The allure of burnished copper lends a sense of timeless grace in any home.  The bucket is joined  near the bottom edge and up the side with evenly spaced cramps.  The top is curled over an iron circle.  The brass? loop swing-handle of the bucket is riveted onto the side with fleur de lis shapes – maybe the french connection.    I have seen one very similar on a SA auction being called a cape water bucket. The experts out there are welcome to comment on this.    Please look at the pictures carefully as they form part of the description.
