Bone Needle Case Inuit, Nordic?

This is one of my most unusual finds.  A needle case made out of bone 22 cms long.   5 steel needles – look like knitting needles inside.  Burnt decoration into the bone and decoration on the leathure closure.  There is embossed lettering on the outside of the leathere closure. I dont know anything about this item, so you need to decide.     Please dont hesitate to ask questions.
