2 Old Leather Covered Poetry Books

1:  Longfellow’s Poetical Works – 684 pages.  Lovely illustrations done from etchings.  Inscription inside “Lilian Savage 6 Dec 1889”  The gilding on the edges is still in nice condition.   The book has light damage on the cover.  The front and back pages have splits where they join the cover  Two pages inside are loose.  There is some browing to the pages inside but otherwise it is generally a nice copy.

2: Thomas Hood 731 pages – Sticker inside ” Awarded to ….. 1922″  The front cover has split from the  halfway up the front.  The inside is tight and clean bearing in mind its age there is very little browning.  The cover top and bottom are scuffed.   See Pictures.  Please don’t hesitate to ask questions as the pictures are part of the description.
