African cast bronze figure 13 cms Benin? Dogon?

I was excited to find this piece as it appears to be an old African cast bronze figurine.  I had always wanted to have a Benin mounted horseman in bronze but sadly they now come at quite a price.     This casting is fairly rough and doesn’t stand steadily but I think it is a lovely piece.  The artist has captured a sense of pleading in the figure.  It will need some support under the base.   Please look at the pictures carefully and dont hesitate to ask any questions.
